Virtual Home Care Tool Kit
For our patients who prefer mostly virtual care we've planned out a basic tool kit of equipment and over-the-counter (OTC) medications that you can purchase easily online and have at home for monitoring, virtual visits and limited acute care. We can also provide you with a limited formulary of inexpensive prescription medications to have on hand for acute illness which you can take in consultation with Dr. Bezzant (rather than having to drive to a pharmacy or wait for them in the mail). When you use them we can order more to replace them so you always have some on hand. You don't have to use these exact products, but the ones listed should provide you with good monitoring at a reasonable price.

Blood pressure cuff
A good blood pressure cuff will provide you with blood pressure and pulse information. Good ones typically run $30-$40 on Amazon. We recommend arm cuffs over wrist cuffs since they tend to be more accurate.

Pulse oximeter
A pulse oximeter checks your blood oxygen and pulse. Good ones run $10-$25.

Themometer
Tympanic thermometers are nice because they don't need to go in your mouth (or other places), but most digital thermometers should work.
